From your photo
to your shop.
Boutiques and brands that want a shared visual setting across product and collection images.
Start with a clear product photo
Keep the garment distinct from its existing background. A complete outline and even lighting help the studio tell the piece apart from its surroundings.
Choose your background
Browse the included backgrounds or upload your own reference. Pick a quiet scene with enough contrast for the garment, especially around light fabric and fine edges.
Review the whole scene
Check the garment colour, shadows and edges as well as the setting. Look for invented objects, changed details or overlap before you export.
Pick a backdrop around the fabric
A soft ivory setting can suit a warm collection; a darker setting can give pale garments clearer contrast. Wood or other textures may fit a brand story, but they can compete with small prints. Compare related products together so the setting supports the range rather than making each piece look like it belongs to a different shop.
Bring your own visual reference
Upload a background photo you own or have permission to use. Treat it as a reference for AI staging, rather than a promise of an exact composite. Background and other uploaded references are checked before AI use. Keep people, private information and unrelated branding out of a backdrop when they are not needed for the product photo.
Choose staging or a lighter photo treatment
Use a new background when you want a different setting. If your original composition already works, the studio also offers a tidy-original treatment. The two approaches have different visual goals; review the output in either case. Changing an existing image into a new AI result uses another credit, while exporting or resizing the existing result does not.
A few useful answers.
Can I upload a custom background?
Yes. You can upload a background reference you have the rights to use. The image is checked before AI use and stays associated with your studio.
Does this export a transparent cutout?
These workflows create staged clothing photos. Do not assume a selected studio background produces a transparent cutout.
Can I use the same background on different pieces?
Yes. Select the same saved background or look again for another garment. Generated lighting and composition can still vary, so review the set together.
